This Desert Soul Pools project in Johnson Ranch features a beautiful freeform swimming pool with a natural boulder waterfall that brings the relaxing sounds of moving water right into the backyard.

🔥 BACKYARD HOT TAKE: Not every backyard needs a pergola.
Before the pergola lovers come for us… hear us out. 😂
Pergolas can be an incredible addition to a backyard, but they're not the only way to create a beautiful outdoor living space.
A fully covered patio, strategically placed umbrellas, or a combination of different shade solutions might be a better fit depending on your layout and how you plan to use the space.

This is when the pool really begins to take shape. The structure is formed, the curves and features become defined, and that backyard vision starts looking a whole lot more real.

When you're designing a Baja shelf, size matters—but bigger isn't automatically better.
Think about how you want to use the space. Loungers? Kids? Cooling off with your feet in the water? This particular shelf was designed oversized to create plenty of room for lounging.
Your pool should be designed around the way you plan to enjoy it—not just around a list of features.

What an incredible evening at Queen Creek Founder’s Day!
We had such a great time connecting with our community, meeting new families, seeing familiar faces, and sharing a little bit of what makes Desert Soul Pools so special.
One of our favorite parts of being a family-owned business is getting to be involved in the communities we serve. Events like this remind us that what we do is about so much more than building beautiful backyards. It's about the people and families who make those backyards home.
