Tradewinds RV Park Needs:
#1 Veteran/Service Member info. - If you know of any shareable information such as forms, contacts or other services please share.
#2 Crafters - we are looking for upcoming community project and would just like to know who out there has homemade crafts they would be interested in selling.
#3 People - When we have activities, please share them within the GV community. We would love to introduce our community to the Golden Valley Community as a whole.

As a veteran’s spouse, I have learned so much over the past 10 years about navigating the VA health care system. I have also learned that with programs, policies, benefits, and procedures constantly changing, there will always be something new for us to learn.

This goes out to anyone in the Mohave County, Arizona area who is interested in helping our veteran community — veterans, spouses, caregivers, family members, and anyone who has knowledge or experience to share.

Maybe you know something about VA travel reimbursement, getting the right ID, filling out a certain form, using commissary or exchange privileges, Community Care, prescriptions, appointments, or simply who to call when you need help.

We need your knowledge and your experiences.

I am starting a resource binder specifically for our veterans group so that the things we learn can be shared instead of each person having to figure everything out on their own.

You don't have to know everything. You may know just one thing that could save another veteran or spouse hours of frustration.

I truly believe that when one part of our community flourishes, the whole community can flourish.

I am so incredibly proud of our community! I want you all to know that the food drive we had " accidentally" reached lake havasu. A person who had seen are call out to help our community had made a donation and we are greatly appreciated. As someone who has relied on food banks and his volunteered, sees the necessity of them we are greatly appreciative for all that you have done. Even though many foods are considered non-perishable, **extreme heat can affect the quality and shelf life of traditional products.** Powdered products are more shelf-stable, easy to store, and can easily be divided into smaller portions for families.

Ladies, grab your fuzzy slippers and come have some fun! We're starting the morning with a **pancake bar, scrambled eggs and bacon**, followed by games, laughs and plenty of time to get to know one another.

Pretty AWESOME! Right outside of our park in The Off Road Diner and Cantina parking area is the Mohave County Mobile Health Care Van. I just went over and got my blood pressure checked and couple of other things. They can provide lots of resources including for Veterans. If you live at Tradewinds you can get a drawing ticket just for going over and talking to them. Only one person left for the free wash & dry however.
