Compressed Air Leaks: Costs, Fixes & PVC Dangers | ODP 10/02/2026

Hear that hiss? That's money. πŸ’Έ

Compressed air leaks can waste 20–30% of what your compressor produces. That means it runs longer, wears out faster, and your tools get less pressure.

Here's a 5-minute test: spray soapy water on your fittings, couplers, and hose connections with the system pressurized. Bubbles mean a leak.

Too Good to Be True: Scam Sites Selling Shop Equipment 09/24/2026

That $15,000 lift deal that seems too good to pass up? It might not exist at all.

Fake equipment sellers have cost buyers millions this year β€” real photos, fake businesses, and a wire transfer that disappears the moment it clears. AI is making these sites easier than ever to build and harder than ever to spot.

We put together a full red-flags checklist on our blog so you know exactly what to check before you send a payment β€” from certification claims to reverse image searches to how to verify a seller actually exists.

If it feels too good to be true, it is. Every time. Check out our latest blog for a full breakdown. tinyurl.com/shop-equip-scam-websites

Too Good to Be True: Scam Sites Selling Shop Equipment AI is letting scammers build convincing fake equipment stores in minutes. Here's how to spot a scam lift, compressor, or shop equipment listing.

Sometimes the best part of the job is getting out of the office and into the dirt. πŸ› οΈ

Our team is hard at work on a new Toyota store install here in Colorado, setting Challenger Lifts EV10 in-ground lifts before the shop floor even goes in. Layout, coordination, weather, all of it β€” this crew has been putting in the work at the stage nobody usually gets to see.

Big thanks to Jacob Bennett for getting dirty and for the team shoutout. Proud of what this crew is pulling off out there!

America's Aging Car Fleet: A Growing Service Opportunity 09/18/2026

Here's a stat that stood out to us: the average car on the road right now is 12.8 years old β€” the oldest it's ever been. With new vehicles pushing close to $50K, it makes sense why folks are holding onto what they've got a little longer.

Good news for the shops that work on them β€” that means more maintenance and repair work heading their way over the next few years. The question is whether there's enough lift and bay capacity to keep up with it.

We wrote up what the trend means for shop planning. πŸš—πŸ”§

America's Aging Car Fleet: A Growing Service Opportunity U.S. vehicles are older, higher-mileage, and pricier to replace than ever. Here's what the aging fleet means for shop capacity and revenue in 2026.

What a day at Legacy Campus Parker's Phase Two grand opening!

Getting to see the space full of people, with the Challenger Lifts equipment we installed already being put to work, made all the planning and installation worth it.

πŸŽ‰ Congrats to the whole Legacy Campus team on this milestone β€” here's to the future of the automotive industry.

Finance or Lease Shop Equipment? Section 179 Explained 09/10/2026

Thinking about a new lift, compressor, or l**e system before year-end? Financing it instead of paying cash doesn't cost you the tax benefit β€” Section 179 lets you deduct the full purchase price in the year it's placed in service, even on financed equipment.

With a $2,560,000 cap and 100% bonus depreciation both in play for 2026, the after-tax cost is often lower than shop owners expect.

Check out the full breakdown on our blog β€”

Finance or Lease Shop Equipment? Section 179 Explained Financing or leasing your next lift, compressor, or l**e system can free up cash and cut your tax bill. Here's how Section 179 fits in for 2026.

Shoutout where it's due πŸ‘ Our techs Joseph and Patty stayed way past closing tonight at ALD Automotive to finish up a Challenger Lifts 4-Post 4P14 EFX install β€” and they didn't cut a single corner to get there sooner.

That's the kind of work ethic that makes us proud to send these two out on jobs. Thanks for going the extra mile, guys!

Big day for our crew in Aurora β€” they spent the day up on lifts running a new exhaust system through a brand new service bay!

Once it's up and running, every tech in that bay will be able to pull an exhaust hose off a sliding trolley anywhere along the rail and hook straight up to a vehicle. No fixed drop points to work around, no dragging hose across the shop floor. The trolley just moves to wherever the car is parked.

It's not flashy equipment, but it's the kind that matters every single day a vehicle's running indoors. Proud of our team for getting this one installed right. πŸ’ͺ

Thinking about investing in a new lift? Check out our buyer's checklist before you even ask for a quote!

It walks through the stuff that's easy to overlook until installation day β€” ceiling height, slab condition, electrical capacity, and more β€” so you're not caught off guard once the equipment shows up.
