Proud to introduce our next Panelist: Morgan Coleman! A born-and-raised Greenville native, a graduate of Mauldin High School, and an avid soccer player for her entire life, Morgan graduated from Clemson University, where she was a member of the women’s soccer team for all four years of her college career. Morgan was a goalkeeper and decided after her collegiate playing days that she wanted to coach. Morgan coached ECNL goalkeepers at CESA for 3 years and ventured back to her alma mater Clemson University to join her former coaching staff as the Volunteer Assistant from 2015-2016.

After deciding to hang up the coaching cleats, Morgan has since built a successful residential real estate business, married her loving husband, and achieved the greatest accomplishment to date- her 6 month old son, Chip.

Introducing our next panelist: Clinton Deas. Clinton Deas is a former professional basketball player turned business consultant and advisor with over 10 years of experience in the insurance industry.

As the co-founder of Kardesler, a middle market interim business development consulting firm, Clint is committed to helping businesses achieve sustainable growth through customized solutions tailored to meet their unique needs. He prides himself on his ability to develop long-lasting relationships with clients and to consistently deliver superior results.

Apart from his work, Clinton Deas is a devoted husband and father of two sons, Bos and Chief. He resides in Roswell, GA where he enjoys spending time with his family, exploring the great outdoors, and staying active in his community through youth personal and professional development.

Introducing our first panelist: Lauren Wallace

Lauren is a Charlotte native. Graduated from the University of Richmond where she was on the swimming and diving team for four years. She recently graduated from the University of North Carolina - Charlotte with a Masters in Accountancy. She is currently living in Charlotte, NC and working at Deloitte in their audit practice.

We are proud to introduce our Keynote Speaker: Doug Middleton

Doug played in the NFL as a safety for seven years. He started his football career in college with Appalachian State. After college, Doug Middleton signed with the New York Jets in 2016.
In his first season he scored an NFL touchdown in Week 17 against the Buffalo Bills, recovering a kickoff in the endzone and in 2018 he started for the New York Jets.

Through Doug’s seven year career, he went on to play for the Miami Dolphins, Tennessee Titans, Jacksonville Jaguars and the San Francisco 49ers.

Now Doug focuses his efforts working in mental health. He started his foundation Dream the Impossible in 2017 after loosing his best friend to su***de.
Now Doug is opening DREAM, a yoga and wellness studio Indianland SC. At Dream Yoga and Wellness, Doug prioritizes mental and physical health in an inclusive environment. DREAM is set to open in May 2023.

🚨🚨🚨 Excited to announce Beyond the Jersey! A nonprofit geared towards serving the Greer-area high school student-athletes!

Beyond the Jersey is focused on equipping these student-athletes with the tools necessary to be successful at the next level and beyond. This starts with a focus on mental health and preparation for what is beyond the jersey for these young people.

We are excited for our inaugural event on April 11th, where we will have over 120 student-athletes from Greer, Byrnes, Eastside, Riverside and Blue Ridge high schools.

We are extremely grateful for our wonderful community partners: Owens Insurance & Financial Services, City of Greer, SC - Government, Greer Flooring Center, First Bank, First Team Sports and Greer High School class of 1980.
