Everybody staffs the build. Almost nobody staffs the six weeks after it, when the line has to make good parts on a Tuesday with the regular crew running it.
This contract staffs both. Final debug and commissioning first, then production start-up support on the same equipment, in Woodhaven, Michigan. Siemens TIA Portal and WinCC are the mandatory part; FANUC Handling Tool and Keyence VS vision are good to have. $68 an hour straight time, $88.40 overtime.

Two builders needed, mechanical and electrical. $48 straight time, $62 overtime, $76 Sunday and holiday, plus $225 a day. Starts September 14.

That is the whole list. No controls scope, no programming, no commissioning sign-off. If you read
that and thought "that is just my week," you are not underqualified for this β you are exactly it.

Maple Systems HMI and PLC combo unit. Bowl feeders. Torque drivers. Program created from scratch.
That is a narrow stack, and if you read it and thought "that is basically my week," this contract
was written for you. Example programs are on site for reference, so you are translating a solved
machine rather than starting at a blank screen.
Hendersonville, Tennessee. $140 an hour, ten to twelve hour days, on site today and through the
weekend until the system runs.
Does a narrow stack make you more employable or less? Narrower pays better, every time.

Read the start date twice.
Today. Not after an interview, not Monday β on site today, and through the weekend until the system runs.
A bowl feeder and torque driver line in Hendersonville, Tennessee is down. The control program gets built from scratch on a Maple Systems HMI and PLC, with example programs there to reference. Ten to twelve hour days at $140 an hour.
Most postings are a plan. This one is a phone call somebody already made.
At $140 an hour for 10 to 12 hour days, is weekend work a burden or the best-paid week of the month? Tell me I am wrong.

September 3rd.
Count backwards from it. A copper tube bending machine in Stuarts Draft, Virginia comes down, and one controls engineer needs to already be standing in front of it β program development, debugging, hardware configuration, Allen-Bradley CompactLogix and Bosch servo drives.
Not interviewing on the 3rd. Working on the 3rd.
$120/hr, $140 overtime, $60/hr travel time, and the flight, hotel, car and per diem are all covered. About two weeks on site.
There is no version of this where a hiring process runs first. That is exactly why it is posted
somewhere you can apply in a minute. Apply button is at the top π
