Kits for Kids GVL is a volunteer-led project partnering with Miracle Hill's Foster Program to restock the Foster Shop before the school year begins. The Foster Shop lets foster children come in and choose items for themselves — school supplies, toiletries, and personal items they actually want.
Drop off donations at our office (6 Parkway Commons Way) Monday-Friday from July 27–August 4!
Here's what's needed most:
🎒 Foster Shop Kits — new underwear + school supplies packed in a reusable shopping bag (~$15–25)
🧴 Toiletries — shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothbrushes, toothpaste, face wash
🎧 Bonus items for teens — headphones, earbuds, deodorant, Cantu hair products, skincare
🏕️ Extras — bug spray, sunscreen, duffel bags, restaurant gift cards
Please NO backpacks, socks, stuffed animals, blankets, or hand sanitizer — they're fully stocked. Every donation helps a local foster child start school feeling supported.
