August is Water Quality Month and what better way to celebrate than with Clean Water Appreciation Day at the Greer Farmers Market. We’ll be joined by our partners at Greenville Water and SJWD Water District on Sunday, August 16 from 11 am – 2 pm at Greer City Park to discuss the water treatment process and how water impacts the foods we eat every day. We may serve different customers, but water impacts us all.

Beginning August 1, 2026, Greer CPW residential and small commercial natural gas customers will notice a new, more detailed breakdown of the charges that make up your natural gas bill.
The new rate structure is revenue neutral for Greer CPW meaning the structure does not increase or decrease the total amount of money collected. We hope this provides a better understanding of the costs that make up your bill and how your usage charges are calculated.

A dripping faucet may seem small, but those little drips can add up to thousands of gallons of wasted water each year. By fixing leaks, using water wisely, and making simple conservation choices every day, we can all help protect one of our most valuable resources.

🥵 Yesterday was the 17th day above 90 degrees in Greer for the month of July. Don't forget weather is one of the biggest factors that impacts your usage. Remember - the greater the distant on your thermostat and the outside temp, the harder your HVAC unit must work to keep you cool.
