A customer told her neighbor about the shop, & the neighbor brought in this 1948 Babe Ruth mantle clock that belonged to her father. These clocks were produced shortly after Ruth passed away & were not for sale in stores. Sweet bronze art deco style. Grateful she brought it in. This will go in the personal collection for now, maybe forever. Great piece of baseball history.

Community Pet Food Pantries: August Recap🐾

Since we aren’t posting every time pantries are restocked anymore, I figured we would do monthly recaps.

This last month, our free community pet food pantries (both in Griffin) collectively provided around 2,500 pounds of pet food to families in need❤️

A lot of the food this month was made possible thanks to our friends at Second Life Atlanta. We applied for and received a grant a while back for community outreach. With those funds, we have primarily purchased food pallets for the pantries. Their kindness and generosity has helped keep community pet bellies full and families together.

Had a customer/collector travel up from north Florida today & made two purchases on this 1920s gas pump & 1930s coin op arcade shooting game “Challenger”. It was right on time for us…you truly never know who will walk in the door. Makes this a lot of fun & just meeting new people each day. It’s all faith & taking action!
