Those ears! Have you ever seen anything so adorable! Meet Minnie! She is the sweetest little lap dog you've ever seen.❤️

She was attacked by another dog and lost an eye as a result, but she's all healed thanks to Kings County Animal Services and is ready for the good life.

We're working on walking on a leash. She is 2 years old, quiet in a crate, and she gets along with our 8 dogs. She hasn't seemed reactive to cats either. She takes a minute to warm up to new people but 3 days is magic. She's getting used to her change in vision and it doesn't seem to affect her at all. She weighs about 11 lbs.

Carol and Tony are currently transporting 11 dogs to Dog Bless Rescue in Canada, with their destination located just north of Eugene, Oregon. Unfortunately, one photograph is missing from our records. We previously collaborated with Kim on this endeavour. Notably, several of these dogs have already secured forever homes. Carol's dedication to these animals is evident, having cared for some of them over several months. A sincere appreciation is extended to Carol and Tony for their tireless efforts and commitment to rescuing these dogs. We wish them a safe and successful journey. Sloan, now renamed Aurora, will reside on a private island where she will receive ample love and have extensive space to roam, thanks to the exceptional care provided by her foster parent, Pam.

Shelters are completely overflowing right now. Dogs in every kennel. Doubled up. In offices. In hallways. Everywhere. And more arrive daily. Strays. Surrenders. Owner turn-ins. The shelter can't keep up with the endless influx. Meanwhile dogs are dying. Healthy, loving, perfect dogs being euthanized for SPACE because nobody adopted them in time. While people spend thousands buying designer puppies from breeders, these desperate souls die waiting for someone to choose them. Every shelter dog deserves a chance at life. They're not broken or defective—just victims of circumstances and terrible previous owners. They're WAITING. Desperately hoping someone finally picks them. Saves them. Chooses them before time runs out. Be that someone. Adopt them. Save the ones already here desperately waiting and facing death.
