🚨 Have you seen the new Beazer Homes at Cottonwood sign off Highway 289 in Gunter?

I’ve had several people ask me if Beazer is building a new community in Gunter because of the sign.

The answer is not quite. 👇🏻

The sign is located in Gunter, but it’s directing traffic north to Cottonwood in Dorchester, just a few minutes north of Gunter along FM 902.

I’ve included the master plan for Cottonwood so you can get a better idea of how the community is planned, along with a few photos of what Beazer Homes typically look like. While the floor plans and elevations at Cottonwood may vary, these photos give you a good idea of the style buyers can expect.

Gunter ISD Superintendent Dr. Enos just announced that Gunter ISD has been preliminarily selected by the Texas Education Agency for the 2026 Rural Pathway Excellence Partnership (R-PEP) Planning & Expansion Grant, in partnership with Howe ISD.

If awarded, this partnership would help expand Career & Technical Education (CTE) opportunities for Gunter students through the newly created Lone Star Innovation Zone.
