Little Learners Child Development Center

The Butterfly Class is officially beginning their Handwriting Without Tears journey! ✏️🦋

We’re starting with the letter L! Our Butterflies are learning how to form letters using simple strokes while strengthening their fine motor skills, pencil control, and confidence as young writers.

Big Line Down, Little Line Across — L!🌟

Nothing beats some playground fun with Ms Nikki! 🏀 Our preschoolers had a blast practicing their throwing, catching, and hand-eye coordination while enjoying some fresh air and lots of laughs. Catch, toss, repeat! 💛🐝

There’s nothing better than winding down with a good story! 📖💤 Ms. Dawn and our Butterfly friends are getting cozy for naptime with a special read-aloud. Storytime is the perfect way to slow down, relax, and enjoy a little imagination before resting and recharging for the rest of our day! 🦋✨

Building, creating, and learning together! 🧱✨ Our little learners enjoyed some outdoor play while using colorful blocks to build, explore, and use their imaginations. Activities like this encourage creativity, problem-solving, fine motor skills, and teamwork—all while having fun with friends! 🌈

❤️ Seeing RED in the Dragonfly Classroom! ❤️

Each month, our Dragonflies focus on a special Color of the Month, and September is all about RED! 🔴 Our friends explored their red-themed sensory table by scooping, pouring, digging, and discovering different textures. Sensory play is a fun hands-on way to practice color recognition while strengthening fine motor skills and encouraging exploration!

🌳Family Week in the Bumblebee Classroom! 🌳

Eloy is so proud to show off his beautiful Family Tree ! 🐝🍃 With photos of the special people who make up his family, Eloy got to share a little bit about the people he loves most with his friends.

Family Week is a wonderful way for our Bumblebees to celebrate what makes each of their families unique and special! 🏡💛

🏀⚽️🏈 Little Baller Fridays! 🎾🏐

Fridays are for moving, learning, and having FUN! Our preschoolers have the opportunity to participate in an exciting extracurricular activity with My Little Baller, where they are introduced to a variety of sports through fun, age-appropriate activities.

Each week, our little athletes work on gross motor skills, coordination, balance, teamwork, and problem-solving while building confidence and staying active. We love giving our preschoolers opportunities to learn beyond the classroom! 💪🌟

Here’s to another fun-filled Little Baller Friday! 🏀⚽️🏈

🇺🇸 September 11th — We Remember

Today, we pause to remember and honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001, the families forever impacted, and the brave first responders and everyday heroes who showed incredible courage and compassion.

May we continue to teach our little learners the importance of kindness, helping others, gratitude, and coming together as a community.

❤️🤍💙 We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

🐝🎨 All About ME! 🎨🐝

It’s “All About Me Week” in the Bumblebee Classroom! 💛 Our little Bumblebees created their very own self-portraits, adding special details to show what makes each of them unique! 🖍️

Activities like this encourage self-expression, creativity, and a positive sense of self while giving us the chance to celebrate all the wonderful individuals who make up our Bumblebee family! 🥰

There’s only ONE you, and that’s what makes you so special 💕

Happy Birthday Lionel! 🥳
