The last day to enjoy the Splash Pads for the season will be Monday, September 7.

The Bergen County Office of Mosquito & Vector Control has found West Nile virus in mosquitoes collected near Johnson Park, the MLK Senior Center, Borg's Woods, and Foschini Park.

While this is a routine seasonal finding and not an immediate health threat, the County will conduct a targeted nighttime spraying treatment on Thursday, August 20 (rain date: August 21) between 10PM and 11:59PM, timed to more effectively target the mosquito species linked to West Nile virus.
