A fascinating week of clinical training in the Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in Oral Implantology at the University of Zürich, diving deeper into treatment planning and decision-making in the posterior maxilla.

Learning from Prof. Dr. Daniel Thoma, Dr. Riccardo Kraus, and Prof. Dr. Ronald Jung, President of the International Team for Implantology (ITI).

One of the strengths of this program is its truly international perspective. Our cohort brings together clinicians from Switzerland, Germany, Italy, France, Portugal, Greece, Poland, Romania, Brazil, Iran, Israel, Japan, South Korea, England, Ireland, Australia, and the United States — different training backgrounds, different clinical perspectives, and a shared commitment to advancing patient care.

For me, the value goes beyond surgical technique.

My role isn't to perform the surgery. It's to understand the decisions behind the case I'm providing anesthesia for.
