Before asking God to do something extraordinary this week, look for the ordinary opportunities He has already entrusted to you. Encourage the lonely. Share a meal with someone who cannot repay you. Speak up for the overlooked. Forgive the person who has been difficult to love. Sometimes the clearest evidence that God is working in your life is that the people around you experience His kindness through you!

You don’t have to navigate immigration uncertainty alone. If you live in North Jersey, here are some resources to start with.
With TPS (Temporary Protected Status) ending for Haitian and Syrian refugees, and the ongoing hysteria regarding immigration affecting Latino and African populations, we need to make resources known and available. Some of these trusted organizations operate in the heart of Hackensack.
If you are not personally affected, you can still call your local representatives and request they speak out more regularly on behalf of your affected friends who are trying to do the right thing but are stuck. Numbers in the post.
If you're walking through a difficult season today, don't lose heart. God is still working. Your faith is being refined, your hope is being strengthened, and the One who has carried you this far will continue to lead you every step of the way!

Eden is a community of ordinary people who have discovered an extraordinary Savior.
