Who says you can’t read books in math?! 🎨✖️📚
On International Dot Day, Ms. Perkins’s math students brought The Dot to life through a cross-curricular math + literacy lesson! Students read the text, then used ratios to mix paint colors, explore new combinations, and create colorful dots of their own. 🔵🟡🟣
What a GREAT way to see math and ELA in action!

🇺🇸 Tomorrow, Hackensack Middle School will be a RED, WHITE & BLUE day! 🇺🇸
As we remember September 11th, we honor the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the brave first responders who served and continue to serve our communities. We will never forget. ❤️🤍💙
Tomorrow is also Random Acts of Kindness Day! Let’s honor the spirit of the day by looking for opportunities to show kindness, compassion, and support to those around us. A small act of kindness can make someone’s day a little brighter. ❤️
🔴⚪🔵 Wear your red, white & blue and help us spread kindness throughout HMS!
