Thank you to everyone who supported the Hackettstown Rotary Bowlathon! It was a fabulous event and we appreciate the support of our community. Without you we would not be able to do what we do.

Our 2026 Scholarship checks for $2500 were awarded this week to the 2 outstanding Hackettstown High School students. Sydney Donica will be attending Carnegie Mellon this fall studing Math with a music minor, and Sarina Pangallo will enter Ramapo College this fall beginng studies in Social Work. Congratuations to these dedicated and inspiring young leaders from our community!

On July 7, our Rotary presented Warren Tech graduate JASON MISERTINO with the Kevin Guyette Memorial Scholarship Award, with a check for $2500. Jason's parents were able to join our club for lunch & the presentation. The scholarship is awarded each year to the student who best exemplifies the values and missions of the Rotary, and the spirit of the late Kevin Guyette - a beloved "mover & shaker" in the community.

⭐About this outstanding honoree: “Jason Misertino has been a member of Warren Tech’s Building Technology CTE program, in which he excels. He was the President of Student Government and was an integral part in setting up fun events, fundraisers, and activities for the school community. Jason was the Boys Varsity Soccer Captain and has been awarded the defensive player of the year (23-24) and offensive player of the year (24-25).He is a member of the Archery Club and also Key Club. He is a part of the Military Appreciation Club, as well. Both Key Club and MAC host numerous events, fundraiser drives, and work with the community to assist those in need. Jason is in the National Honor Society. He has over 100 hours of community service with various organizations and events. During the summer of 2025 he represented Warren Tech at the American Legion Jersey Boys State that took place at Rider University. It goes without saying that being involved in so many activities requires great time and dedication”. Also Known as the most polite and friendly student you'd ever want to meet, Jason encompasses the spirit of Kevin Guyette Rotary Scholarship perfectly.”

Warren Tech graduate JASON MISERTINO was the 2026 winner of The Kevin Guyette Memorial Scholarship, awarded by the Hackettown Rotary annually in honor of the late Rotarian Kevin Guyette. The scholarship recognizes students who exemplify the values and mission of the Rotary, and specifically students who demostrate the "mover and shaker" attributes iin their community which made Kevin so beloved and successful in her life. Congratulations to Jason, who will be attending Seton Hall in the fall!

WELCOME WORLD! Have you heard the great news? Hackettstown is getting ready to celebrate the World Cup FINAL Match on July 19th as a NJ World Cup Community Initiative grant awardee! 🏆

Our town was one of 34 recipients selected for these grants state-wide — such an honor to be proud of and celebrate! With this grant we are able to host one of the most exciting events in our town’s history — our annual favorite summer Street Fair will remain the family-friendly event you know and love, but…THINK BIGGER! Stay tuned for a lot more information and updates as we get closer to the event. ⚽
