I finally got my Monte Cristo from Crazy Pig Southern Kitchen. Let me tell you, it was everything that I thought it would be. Served with a warm strawberry jelly syrup for dipping. It was heavenly indeed. This isn't a regular menu item!!! It's a special item that they serve from time to time. If you can catch it, I promise you it's worth it!

We stopped by to try Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken New Orleans, La. The hospitality was amazing. They said let me warn you the chicken is spicy. I was able to handle it, it wasn't that hot. I'll rate it a 7.5 out of 10. The ranch was ranching for sure. We will definitely be back bc I'm a chicken lover.

Lumora in Covington is a 10/10! I absolutely love everything about this place! The food, decor, aesthetics, and vibes all passed the checklist.

I almost had a boxing match with my husband behind this chicken. Why would he hold out on The Chicken Shack for 7 years and he know how I feel about chicken.
Listen on Tuesdays they have a 2 piece leg, thigh and a roll for $2.25. I wish I could be there every Tuesday!

We do a lot of eating, but we eat healthy too! Can't wait to go back to Healthier Nola. The melons were super sweet red & yellow $12-$15. Under the bridge on Claiborne.
