Today, Firefighter Pines went to Living Way Instruction Zone to talk about fire safety and what our fire gear looks like up close! These kids definitely had a blast today! We are happy to serve the community!!!

Planning to light fireworks this Fourth of July?🎆

Make safety part of the celebration with these important tips:

Approximately 10:12pm, HRFD was dispatched for a trash fire, upon arrival, 265 found a large pallet fire well involved with fire. 265 (Engine 61)then called for assistance. 266(tanker), 275(Engine 62) and Hammond Fire Dept responded to help get the fire under control. We encourage people when you burn, please do not leave unattended. Always watch the fire while it is burning. No injuries were reported. As always, thank you for your support!!
