CHECKER. Believe in Electricity. Haling from Detroit with their fascinating mix of "Beatles-esque" choruses, and Velvet Underground level of attitude.
CHECKER aims for nothing less than the top of the music industry. With their eyes set on taking the rock & roll world by storm, CHECKER is known for their blue collar lyricism, sleek aesthetics, and "chin up" attitudes. Consisting of the songwriting of duo McKenna Fain (drums/lead vocals) and Cinquex (guitar/vocals), their creativity is not limited by being a two-piece, but instead expanded by it. nIts about the brass tacks -- no nonsense gimmicks and room shaking rock & roll ballots. The bold hopefulness of their sound and their fondness of musical greats from all genres serves as an important influence on them and lights the winding road towards their ultimate goal -- to be the most important band in the world. Proudly showing the green behind their ears, CHECKER continues the nearly lost tradition of every rock & roll star that came before them; stripping away the out of touch pop star, and corporate pig to reveal the authentic and caring world that truly exist behind the game.
“For anyone who has felt out of place, we hope to be your music.” - McKenna Fain of Checker
