He doesn’t want just a few minutes of your day—He wants your heart.
Prayer isn’t simply a task; it’s conversation with the One who loves you most.

Reading His Word isn’t simply something to accomplish; it’s how we learn His heart, hear His truth, and allow Him to shape us.
Worship isn’t just something we do at church; it’s a posture of our everyday lives.

And when you miss a day, fall behind, or feel like you’ve failed, you don’t have to hide from God. Run toward Him.

There is no box to check.�No perfect streak to maintain.�No performance required.

He wants YOU.

So today, don’t approach God with a checklist.
�Approach Him with an open heart.
Sit with Him.�Talk to Him.�Listen to Him.�Know Him.�Love Him.

Because the goal isn’t to complete your relationship with God.
The goal is to grow deeper in it. 🤍

Don’t Stop Dating Your Spouse

One of the best things you can do for your marriage is to keep dating your spouse.

Life gets busy. Kids need you. Work demands your attention. There are meals to make, bills to pay, schedules to manage, and a hundred other things competing for your time.But somewhere in the middle of all of that, don’t forget the person you chose to do life with.

Dating your spouse doesn’t have to mean expensive dinners or elaborate plans. It can be sitting on the porch together after the kids go to bed, grabbing coffee, taking a walk, going for a drive, or simply putting your phones away and talking.

It is about intentionally choosing each other.

Love may bring two people together, but it’s the time, friendship, laughter, communication, and intentional effort that help a marriage thrive

Your children will grow up. Your schedules will change. Seasons will come and go.But when you continue to invest in your marriage, you are building a relationship that can grow stronger through every season.

So make the date.�Put it on the calendar.�Get dressed up—or stay in your sweats.�Try something new.�Laugh together.�Talk about something other than the kids.

Keep dating the person you fell in love with—and keep falling in love with the person they are becoming. ❤️

As we get ready to step into a new month and prepare for the back-to-school season, don't forget to take time to plan.

Today, I sat down with my teenager, and we looked over our calendar for the next few months. We talked through upcoming events, commitments, goals, and what life will look like as the school year begins.

A little planning today can prevent a lot of stress tomorrow. Whether you have young children, teenagers, or it's just you, taking a few minutes to get everyone on the same page creates peace, sets expectations, and helps your family move into the new season with purpose instead of feeling overwhelmed.

What is one thing you're doing this week to prepare for the new month?

Just wanted to remind you today that God sees every burden you're carrying—even the little things that seem to pile up and steal your peace. Sometimes it's not one big storm, but a thousand tiny raindrops that leave us feeling overwhelmed.

"Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you." — 1 Peter 5:7

You don't have to carry it all by yourself. Bring every worry, every frustration, and every fear to the Lord. He isn't bothered by what feels "small" to you—if it matters to you, it matters to Him.

Praying that God will quiet your heart, give you strength for today, and remind you that His grace is enough for every moment. One step at a time. He's holding you, even when life feels heavy.

Last week I was listening to a podcast on leadership. One of the guests spoke about their philosophy on how they approach entering a meeting, a gathering, or just a room where people are.

The two questions they ask themselves before entering the room…

What can I give?
What can I learn?

The strongest leaders don't enter a room to be the smartest person there. They enter ready to add value, elevate others, and keep learning.

Every room is an opportunity:�• To give more than you take.�• To listen more than you speak.�• To encourage more than you criticize.�• To learn something you didn't know before.

That's how influence grows—not by demanding attention, but by consistently serving others and remaining teachable.

When leaders consistently contribute before they consume and listen before they speak, they build trust, strengthen relationships, and create lasting influence.

When I stop and count my blessings, I'm reminded of God's faithfulness…his goodness—even in the ordinary moments.
