The Welcome Moment turned the w**e reference into something sculptural.

For the second festival activation, we translated the idea of grapes into an oversized welcome moment using clustered forms, berry tones and greenery. The concept needed to feel playful enough to stop guests, but polished enough to live inside the same visual world as the main activation.

The welcome moment had one job: 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥.

For the Welcome Moment, the goal was to turn the w**e reference into something guests understood immediately. Sculptural grape clusters, layered berry tones and greenery created a playful arrival moment that still belonged to the larger festival world. It gave guests a clear place to stop, photograph and enter the experience.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐝.

A photo moment has to do more than look good when the space is empty. It has to make people want to walk over, pause and interact with it.

That was the job of this oversized w**e-glass activation. The scale created the stop. The branding created context. The guest interaction completed the experience.

𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐤 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭—𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬?

One thing I think about constantly when designing an experience is what the guest notices first. The overall scale has to stop you, but the details are what make you stay.

For this festival activation, the structure, florals, barrels and branded elements all had to work together as one moment.
