Commercial Construction has reached the summit at The Cassidy, celebrating this achievement with a topping out ceremony as the work moves indoors.

As a way to show appreciation to all our partners, we hosted a lunch with a live mariachi band and raffled off various prizes, including new tools, headlamps, and two flat-screen televisions!

The Cassidy in Prince George's County is a 175-unit affordable housing project being led by our award-winning multifamily team. The development is designed to seamlessly blend a sustainable, walkable, and vibrant neighborhood into the surrounding community.

This past Friday was National Concussion Awareness Day, a reminder of the importance of protection from head injuries both on and off the job. While often associated with sports, concussions can occur anywhere, including on construction sites, making awareness, prevention, and proper protection essential across our industry.

Every concussion is serious, and the effects can be cumulative. That's why education, awareness, and safety measures play such an important role in protecting workers and their long-term health.

At Commercial Utilities, safety starts with preparation and the right equipment. That's why our crews wear KASK Zenith X2 helmets, featuring advanced impact protection technology designed for demanding work environments.

By investing in innovative safety equipment, we're helping protect our most valuable asset: our people.

The Commercial team came together to express our creativity with a paint & sip event on Friday. It was a fun way to unwind at the end of the week and connect as a team. Everyone painted colorful sailboats on mini canvases while learning the basics of color theory. It was a great afternoon of creativity, camaraderie, and fun!

Happy Labor Day from the Commercial Group Companies!

Commercial Utilities hosted an in-depth, bilingual safety training class and luncheon at Dave & Busters. Today our team reinforced the importance of rigging safety to protect utility crews and work on track. Safety is the highest priority at Commercial Utilities, and training like this reinforces the habits, procedures, and mindset that help protect our employees, our partners, and the communities we serve.

"Working safely might get old, but so do the people who practice it."

Commercial Interiors was in the house to see the Ravens dominate their final preseason game against the Washington Commanders 41-3!
