We manufacture industry-leading projection displays for Professional, Aerospace and Consumer markets. Under the name, Roy C.

At 55 years of age, Roy Stewart had an opportunity that fit in with his vision of making large front and rear projection screens. With the help of his two sons, Marshall, 23, and Clifford, 20, the purchase was made and a small pilot operation was opened at a former WWII munitions facility in Torrance. Stewart & Sons, the business produced one lace and grommet screen a week for the movie industry. For more than 65 years now, Stewart has been the consistent choice of discerning clientele around the world. We are unique amongst projection screen manufacturers in that we formulate and manufacture, from scratch, our own vinyl projection screen material. Through years of research and development, Stewart has engineered the most uniform, color correct, reference quality screen materials on the market, and we can manufacture these materials in the largest seamless sizes of any screen manufacturer. Because we produce our own material, we can make custom formulations to fit the unique needs of a specific installation. For instance, we can deepen black levels to improve contrast, or manipulate gain to find the optimal tradeoffs between brightness and viewing angles, all the while upholding a high standard for image fidelity. There is a perfect screen for every application, and nobody knows this like Stewart. Visit www.stewartfilmscreen.com to find out more. Whether your application can be satisfied by one of our typical, time-tested, award winning materials or whether you require a custom formulation, Stewart will work with you to ensure that your content is delivered to your audience EXACTLY as intended.

Some projects remind us that what we build can mean far more than the equipment in the room.

Stewart Filmscreen was deeply honored to help W. Harley Miller Systems
create a home theater for Micah through Make-A-Wish. This special space came together because so many people generously contributed their time, expertise and products to help make Micahโ€™s wish a reality. ๐Ÿ’™

Our heartfelt thanks to W. Harley Miller Systems for leading the project, including Todd Clarke, who completed the construction, and Jack Greene and Nate Dailey, who handled the wiring and installation.

We are also grateful to everyone who contributed:

Special thanks to Julia Mumma and Harper Morrison at Make-A-Wish for giving this team such a meaningful opportunity, and to Diandra Lazor for arranging a poster signed especially for Micah by Jamie Kennedy, Matthew Lillard, S***t Ulrich and Lee Waddell.

A screen is built to bring stories to life. We are grateful that this one will become part of Micahโ€™s story.

Different projectors. One consistent reference surface

ProjectorScreen.com selected a 130-inch Stewart Filmscreen WallScreen 2.5 with StudioTek 100 for its dedicated theater. As the team evaluates various projectors, StudioTek 100 will provide the neutral, accurate reference needed for meaningful comparisons.

The video also shows how our QuickSnap system takes the fuss out of assembly. No rubber bands, springs or kitchen gadgetsโ€”just a smooth, precisely tensioned screen surface.

A photo I took yesterday of Apache gunship rear projection partial dome screens used for critical mission simulation. In this photo you are seeing the projector side back of the domes. Boeing then sends their factory personnel to Stewart and measures the optics of the screens to make sure they meet their tight military specs. After final inspection, we then pack the screens up in separate crates and ship. With this very same attention to detail that we apply to all our picky aerospace customers, we also apply across the board to all our the Home Theater and Commercial screen products we build.
Best Regards,
Don Stewart

Step beyond the velvet curtain and into Hollywoodโ€™s golden age. โœจ๐ŸŽฌ

Surrounded by silver-screen legends, rich red drapery, and timeless Art Deco glamour, this home theater captures the romance of cinemaโ€™s most unforgettable eraโ€”with a Stewart Filmscreen ready for tonightโ€™s feature presentation.

Because every movie night deserves a little movie magic.

Bravo, Kasabe Designs Inc - the stars have never looked better.

Luxury isn't about adding more. It's about making every detail disappear into the experience. ๐ŸŽฌ

Originally shared by Kasabe Designs Inc - this stunning private cinema is a beautiful example of purposeful designโ€”from the fiber-optic star ceiling and architectural wall treatments to the carefully integrated Stewart Filmscreen that becomes the visual centerpiece without ever demanding attention.

When the lights go down, that's exactly how it should be. The room fades away. The image takes over. And every frame is presented with precision and fidelity.

The best home cinemas don't ask you to admire the technology. They invite you to forget it's there.

๐ŸŽฅ Proud to be the screen behind experiences like this.
