Celebrating 2 birthdays this morning, Pat Murman from Duryea and Joan Stout of Angeline’s Flowers in Endicott New York, with Pat’s daughters Carla Murman-Reck in town from Raleigh North Carolina, Christa Murman, and Barbara Aversa. Dinner at Rob Friedman’s ‘Fire & Ice on Toby Creek’ restaurant in Dallas this evening! Best wishes to both birthday girls for another great year ahead! 🥂

Before Barbara leaves for vacation in Florida, dinner this evening before ‘Saturday Night Live at the Oldies’ at 7 PM ET on iHeart Radio. Great seeing Bonnie and John Haluska, and Genine and Judge Ted Giglio dining on the town. Tonight’s bill of fare: Grilled Hot Sausage Calabrese à la Cusumano, red, yellow fire hot & sweet peppers mixed, Field Greens Salad (bitter greens, dandelion, amaranth, escarole, chard, spinach, Rose Hips, alfalfa, watercress) w/Honey Basil dressing, Canada Dry Ginger Ale no ice, ice water, Barbara: cold water Lobster Francaise, House Salad w/Bleu cheese and Bleu cheese crumbles, ‘unsweetened’ ice tea, ice water, Italian bread. Barbara studying the special drink menu, and although we don’t drink alcohol, these specialties should be desserts! 🍸

🍰 Always great seeing Carla Murman-Reck in town from Raleigh North Carolina, joining sister Christa (Night Ranger?) for mom Pat Murman’s huge birthday event tomorrow!
