Submit your programs and services so more Pennsylvanians can find the housing support they need: pa211.org/agency-partners/

Let's always be ready.
September is National Disaster Preparedness Month. Now is the time to prepare yourself, your family, and your community before an emergency happens.
Preparedness starts at home, but strong community response depends on trusted systems and partnerships being in place before disaster strikes.
UWP & PA 211 are proud to help connect Pennsylvanians to critical information and resources, supporting communities as they prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies.

We have immediate needs for folks with chainsaws and the ability to use them, along with ground clearing personnel.
Monroe County Emergency Management officials are doing damage assessment still, but most homeowners have heard from their insurance companies. That tree clearing will not be covered under their policies.
Primarily in the Smithfield Township area, where I have unknown report of needs for elderly and handicap people to have trees cleared.
