🚧 Great news for the 5th District!

The Connecticut Department of Transportation recently announced $1.6 million in funding for two local bridge replacement projects:

West Hartford - $978,075 for the Old Brook Road Bridge over Mountain Farms Brook
Burlington - $636,750 for the Alto Road Bridge

These improvements will help enhance safety and strengthen local infrastructure.

TRAFFIC ALERT 🚨

Connecticut Department of Transportation announced a milling and resurfacing project to improve a 0.88-mile segment of Route 71 (New Britain Ave.) in New Britain, Newington, Farmington, and West Hartford will begin tomorrow, July 9th until Monday, July 27th.

Work will be performed from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Sunday to Thursday, and motorists can expect lane closures.
