On August 14th, 2026, Fort Worth, Haslet, and Saginaw fire crews worked a residential structure fire in the 10000 block of Los Rios Drive

FATALITY ACCIDENT

At approximately 2:50 a.m. on August 11, 2026, Fort Worth Police and Fire responded to a major accident near the SH 360 southbound ramp to SH 183 eastbound.

According to police, a white Hyundai Elantra exited onto eastbound SH 183 at a high rate of speed, traveled up an embankment, struck the underside of the overpass and caught fire. The driver’s boyfriend pulled her from the vehicle, and Fort Worth Fire personnel performed CPR at the scene. The driver was pronounced deceased.
