The only reason we are selling this trailer is because we found a larger Work & Play that better fits our family’s needs. Otherwise, we would keep this one and continue the repairs, upgrades, and interior updates we had planned.

We have used this trailer while repairing and upgrading it over the years and have traveled the country with it.

GARAGE

• Interior garage length: 17 feet 9 inches
• Usable garage floor length with the toolbox installed: Approximately 15 feet 1 inch
• Rear ramp-door opening: 90¼ inches wide × 86½ inches tall
• Width between the wheel wells: 83½ inches
• Floor-mounted cargo tie-downs
• Rear exterior LED loading lights
• Mac Tools toolbox included

AXLES, SUSPENSION, WHEELS & TIRES

• Upgraded from the original 6,000-pound axles to new 7,000-pound axles
• Axles were ordered with approximately 4 inches of additional height built into them
• No lift blocks or separate aftermarket lift components
• New hubs
• New electric trailer brakes on both axles
• Modern aluminum alloy wheels replacing the original dated alloy wheels
• 2023 tires
• Two spare tires included
• Estimated payload capacity: Approximately 6,000–6,500 pounds

HITCH

• Converted from a gooseneck coupler to a fifth-wheel connection
• MORryde cushioned fifth-wheel pin box for additional articulation and cushioning

GENERATOR, ELECTRICAL & AIR CONDITIONING

The trailer was originally equipped with:

• 30-amp electrical service
• Onan 4000 generator
• One 13,500 BTU roof air conditioner in the living quarters
• No transfer switch

It has been upgraded with:

• Onan 5,500-watt generator
• Generator hour meter currently reads approximately 857.8 hours
• Generator and its original matching hour meter were removed from the same motorhome and installed together
• 50-amp electrical service
• Automatic transfer switch
• New electrical distribution panel
• Original 13,500 BTU living-area air conditioner
• Added 15,000 BTU garage air conditioner

The electrical system was upgraded to support the second air conditioner and provide additional capacity. Both air conditioners can operate while also using common appliances such as the microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer, and similar items with fewer limitations than the original 30-amp system.

WATER & FUEL SYSTEMS

• New 48-gallon fresh-water tank replacing the original 35-gallon tank
• 20-gallon gray-water tank
• 20-gallon black-water tank
• Tankless water heater with interior digital temperature controller
• 25-gallon auxiliary fuel tank with electric pump and nozzle

AWNING & EXTERIOR UPDATES

• Original manual awning replaced with a power awning
• New awning canopy
• LED strip lighting underneath the awning
• Fold-down solid-step entry stairs
• Exterior storage compartments

INTERIOR

• Front kitchen
• Refrigerator/freezer
• Microwave
• Three-burner cooktop with oven
• Dinette and seating area
• Overhead cabinets and interior storage
• Loft sleeping area
• Bathroom with toilet, sink, storage, and glass-door shower
• Flat-screen televisions

CONDITION

This is a 2005 trailer that has been used and enjoyed.

The exterior gel coat has fading from age and sun exposure. Our plan was to polish it as part of the exterior refresh.

The floor and ramp door have areas of water damage and rot that will require repair. With the exception of the original water heater, which failed or leaked and was replaced with the tankless unit, the known water damage existed before we purchased the trailer.

Our plan was to remove the interior, repair the floor completely, and update the interior as everything was reinstalled rather than make temporary repairs. We found the larger Work & Play before beginning that project.

The trailer also has normal cosmetic wear consistent with its age and use.

The generator, electrical system, both air conditioners, fuel station, water heater, and appliances function as they should.

🏡 Rhome Estate Sale – Project Complete 🏡

A few weeks ago, we successfully wrapped up our Rhome estate sale. We waited to share the final results until after our Boyd sale had concluded so each project could have its own spotlight.

Following the sale, the client chose to have the remaining contents removed for donation. Our team handled the final clean-out, leaving the property empty and ready for the next stage of their plans with the property.
