We were just contacted by a previous adopter who works at an urgent care vet hospital and 3 approx 4 mth old puppies were abandoned there once the owner was informed they tested parvo positive. The worst one was euthanized because of his poor condition, before we were involved, but we were asked to help these remaining 2….so meet Cinnamon and Hercules.

The estimated cost just for the next 24 hours is $1,500 each, with a much higher total looming on the horizon for us, if they are even strong enough to survive with help.

Our brains (and bank accounts) screami to say no….but our hearts want to say yes. We need your donations to help them and give them a chance. We think these little babies deserve the chance.

👑✨ Attention! A Princess is still waiting for her Happily Ever After... ✨👑

Once upon a time, four sisters arrived at Dog Town Rescue just before their 6-month birthday. One by one, each found their perfect family, rode off into the sunset, and got their fairy tale ending... Except Princess. 💔

Today marks 10 months of waiting.

While all of her sisters have found their kingdoms, Princess is still patiently waiting for someone to choose her. Thankfully, she's spending time in a foster home with one of our amazing volunteers, preparing for her next big adventure.

Now, before you apply, there are a few things you should know about Her Royal Highness:

🍪 Princess LOVES treats.
We're talking "would sell state secrets for a cookie" level of love. The upside? She is incredibly motivated to learn and loves training.

🏔️ Adventure awaits!
New things can be a little scary at first, but with patience and encouragement, Princess blossoms. We think she'd make an excellent hiking buddy and explorer extraordinaire.

👀 Personal space? Never heard of it.
Princess believes if you're home, she should know exactly where you are at all times. Think less "independent woman" and more "tiny furry security camera." She is what you would call a Stage 5 Clinger. ❤️

🚫 Baby gates are merely suggestions.
Princess is smart. Like, "how did she get over there?" smart. If you're a fan of elaborate gate setups and McGyver-level engineering, Princess considers those exciting enrichment activities.

🐶 A canine companion would be a dream.
Princess absolutely loves other dogs. They help build her confidence, provide snuggle opportunities, and reassure her that the world isn't so scary.

👧 Kid approved!
She's met lots of children and has done wonderfully with them.

Princess has spent 10 months watching her sisters leave for their forever homes. We'd really love for her story to have the happy ending she deserves before she hits a year with us.

Have you ever met a puppy that acts like he’s already retired? Meet Boba.

At around 16 weeks old and just over 20 pounds, Boba is believed to be a hound mix with legs for days, paws the size of dinner plate’s, and a very good chance of becoming a big boy. Found as a stray in the South, he’s now learning that people, couches, and belly rubs are actually pretty awesome.

Boba is not your typical puppy. Sure, he’ll happily untie your shoes and believes every object deserves a quick taste test, but once that’s out of the way, he’s ready for his next nap. While other puppies are doing laps around the yard, Boba is wondering if anyone would like to join him on the couch for a nice cuddle and maybe a nap in the sunshine.

We like to say Boba is still figuring out how to be a dog. New things can make him a little nervous, but his tail rarely stops wagging, and once he realizes everything is okay, he’s all in. His giant puppy eyes could convince almost anyone to hand over unlimited ear scratches. But if you stop too soon, expect a gentle paw smack reminding you that your job isn’t finished.

If you’ve noticed he moves a little differently than most puppies, don’t worry! Boba has had the full VIP veterinary workup—X-rays, bloodwork, and more and he’s a healthy boy. He’s just a little gangly and still trying to coordinate those extra-long legs. Think baby giraffe but with floppy ears.

Boba is doing an amazing job with house and crate training and hasn’t had an accident in his foster home. Which doesnt mean he wont still need work once in a new home.

He’s wonderful with children, gentle with kids as young as four, and absolutely loves other dogs. He enjoys a little playtime, and will romp with the best of them, but honestly? He’s much happier cuddling with his dog friends than body-slamming them.

Boba is looking for a family that will help him continue building confidence while appreciating that not every puppy comes with a nonstop zoomie setting. Some puppies are chaos. Boba is comfort.
