If you guys have been keeping up with my stories, then you know all about the teachers teachers issue that is going on right now. But in case you haven’t seen anything - long story short - they want sellers like me to pay $60 a year for 77.5% payout and exclusive rights to the things that we make and we sell on teachers pay teachers. Meaning, if I pay the premium, then they won’t allow me to sell anywhere else, but teachers pay teachers. I refuse to let them have exclusive rates of anything that I put my blood sweat and tear tears into. The 60 resources that are currently in my store will remain where they are at. However, anything brand new that I am making will now go to my Payhip store. At the moment, I am putting anything that is in my TPT store into my pay App Store and then I will put in new products after that. This does put a delay in my current projects that I’m working on appreciate everybody’s patience. And if you have any questions, please reach out! Here we go..!!!!

I used to cry because I didn’t think that I would ever get to hear my son say the word mommy, or say the phrase I love you.
When speech therapists began to show me ways of getting my son to say words, I began working on it at home with him. So did my husband. It’s been a huge team effort here at home. I think that in this case, my husband was the one to get Kai into the routine of saying goodnight and I love you. And if I’m recalling it correctly, it was just a few years ago that my husband told me to go say goodnight to Kai and listen to his response. And there it was. “Goodnight, Mommy.” (So he knew to switch Daddy to Mommy and that was a big deal because he wasn’t just repeating the words. He knew the context.) followed by, “I love you, too”.
Last night, I just had to record it. Not just for memories, but to give hope to other parents out there that our kids can do it! It might take a lot more repetition to learn it, but they can absolutely get here whether they use their voice, AAC, PECS, or sign language.
Kai not only says it might, but he will randomly tells us from time to time during the day “Good Mommy” or “I love you”. And that melts. My heart because it tells me that he thinks we’re doing a good job. ❤️❤️❤️Our sweet boy. We love you so.
And though my teenager daughter doesn’t want to be filmed these days, she gives me the tightest hugs at night before bed. Sometimes for minutes. She has no idea how much it means to me. I love my kids so much.
