The slammed F100 build is coming along! We have about 10 items left on our list before first start up, and as we check things off, it’s looking more like a truck! This thing is so low, even on the dollies!

The LJ got some upgrades this week! The previous control arms had a pretty nasty bent joint, so we decided to go up one size on the hardware, switch up to heim joints at the axle, johnny joints at the frame, and go with our custom full aluminum control arms!

Last time this thing moved was back in February during the annual TH winter bash….. but now it’s time to wake it up and get it ready for a couple events. We found some issues from the multiple rollovers that have to be addressed (more on this in future posts) lol.

A while back I mentioned in a post that I wanted to convert the fuel cell’s stock jk pump to an external pump & filter setup. The stock plastic pump does not hold up at all with hard bouncing and vertical angles. There was very little info on doing it so I decided to just go about it the same was as normal and see if it would work.

So this is a similar bottom sump tank as before, but obviously no pump inside now. We 3D printed a K&N Filters fuel filter and WalbroFuelPumps.com 255 mount, and as always, an Aeromotive Fuel Systems fuel regulator and gauge.

Basically threw that on the tank, set the fuel pressure to exactly what stock pump pressure is, and it’s been working great. No stumbling, no issues with the jeep vertical (or even upside down lol), and no more digging into a tank full of fuel to swap out the pump. Now that we know it works good, we’ll get proper Aeromotive fittings and fuel line and it’ll be dialed in!

Happy 4th of July everyone!

Jordan Davis is done and ready to get some road miles before heading back up to Alabama!

The biggest hurdle on these big projects is yourself. It’s important to not lose sight of the end goal and continue to take steps forward. Some of these builds can take 100’s of hours of labor but it’s all worth it in the end 🤘🏻
