Yep! In fact, indoor pups may get less natural nail wear than dogs who spend more time walking and playing on rough outdoor surfaces.
Carpet, rugs, hardwood and other indoor flooring usually don’t provide enough friction to keep nails at a healthy length. When nails become too long, they can:

🐾 Put unnecessary stress on their paws and joints
🐾 Snag, crack or split
🐾 Become uncomfortable over time
🐾 Allow the quick to grow longer, making future trims more difficult

l've been around animals my whole life and have been working in animal services for about 6 years! I've worked all the things! From boarding kennels, doggy daycare, pet sitting, veterinary medicine, and grooming. I also really enjoy getting involved in the community and helping animals whenever I can. Basically, if animals are involved, I'm interested! I'm excited to keep learning, growing, and doing what I love while getting to know all the pets and their people along the way!

Bark in Style Cancellation Policy
At Bark in Style, we know life happens! Schedules change, unexpected situations come up, and sometimes an appointment simply needs to be moved. We are always happy to work with our families whenever possible.
Due to being a mobile grooming service, each appointment reserves a dedicated place in our schedule specifically for you and your pup. Last-minute cancellations can be difficult to fill and impact our ability to serve other families who may be waiting for an appointment.
Our Cancellation Policy
🐾 48+ Hours’ Notice
Need to cancel or reschedule? No problem! Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or move your appointment without a cancellation fee.
🐾 Less Than 24 Hours’ Notice / Same-Day Cancellations
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, including same-day cancellations, will result in a fee equal to 50% of the scheduled appointment charge.
We understand that true emergencies happen, and those situations may be considered on an individual basis.
Our cancellation policy is not meant to make things difficult for our families—it helps us protect the time reserved for each pet, keep our mobile schedule running smoothly, and continue providing the one-on-one care Bark in Style is known for.
