🔥 2026 MARION COUNTY TRT TEAM | TRENCH REFRESHER 🔥

Day 2 we turned up the complexity and these guys got after it like the bid dawgs they are! Crews built their own FinForm panels before moving into full scale, multiple victim scenarios run like the real call with an IC in place and teams rotating through building, backfilling, cutting, and rescue assignments.

From bipod and aerial high points for victim removal to mixing VMR into the trench with entrapped victims inside a vehicle, each scenario forced crews to combine disciplines, communicate, problem solve, and work as one TRT team from start to finish. These guys WORKED. 😎🤙🏻

Huge thank you to Marion County Fire Rescue FL Marion County Professional Firefighters for having us and Quality Equipment & Parts for helping us make these trenches and scenarios happen 🙌🏼

🔥 09/21 - 09/25/2026 VMR OPS CLASS 🔥

FINAL SCENARIO FRIDAY! After a week of building the fundamentals, it was time to put it all together. Our class split into three teams and operated as realistically dispatched units, rotating through multiple extrication scenarios involving multiple vehicles with multiple victims.

From initial size up and stabilization to cutting, spreading, lifting, patient access and removal, each team had to work through the problems in front of them and make decisions in real time. No isolated skill stations. Just realistic scenarios, teamwork, problem solving, and a whole lot of work.

Awesome week with an awesome group. These guys came ready to learn, put in the reps, and finished the week strong. Who’s ready for VMR Tech?! 😎🤙🏻

🔥 09/14 - 09/18/2026 STRUCTURAL COLLAPSE OPS @ IRSC 🔥

Small class, LOTS of work. Our crew of 7 spent the week building from the ground up starting with wedges, gussets, shoring, and tool/equipment familiarity before getting and staying outside and applying it all together.

From building shores and working with hand & power tools to torch work, breaching concrete, and victim based scenarios, this crew got rep after rep all week. With a smaller class, there was nowhere to hide and plenty of work to go around, and these guys took everything we threw at them in stride. Awesome week at Indian River State College with a solid group that came ready to learn and put in the work. 😎🤙🏻

🔥POV: You’re doing your first scenario in Confined Space🔥

We wanted to show some content from the students’ first realistic scenario with a live victim and zero visibility. The day before, everything felt much easier during controlled breakout stations. They could see their equipment, organize their umbilicals, manage their air packs, and work through patient packaging one skill at a time.

Then we change the environment. Inside a confined space (with limited room, zero visibility, a live patient, and an entire team relying on communication) even the simplest tasks became significantly harder. There were mistakes. There was confusion. Equipment became tangled. Plans had to change. Instructors stepped in, corrections were made, and the students kept working through it.

We’re showing the candid moments because training isn’t supposed to look perfect. This is where problems are discovered, lessons stick, and individual skills begin becoming real world competency. Embrace the learning process and embrace the mistakes, everyone was a student once. We learn through every rep. That’s what we’re here for. 😎🤙🏻
