Last week, Gary Rome Hyundai and Hyundai Hope had the privilege of presenting $10,000 donations to both the Holyoke Community College Thrive Center and the Western Massachusetts Food Bank.
The HCC Thrive Center helps students access essentials like food, housing resources, emergency funding, healthcare assistance, and more so they can focus on earning their education instead of worrying about meeting basic needs.
The Western Massachusetts Food Bank serves more than 122,000 people every month, working with nearly 200 local food pantries, meal sites, and shelters across all four counties of Western Massachusetts. They distributed over 17.9 million pounds of food in 2025 and are continuing to expand in 2026.
At a time when many community organizations are facing increased demand, rising costs, and greater uncertainty around available resources, support from local partners is more important than ever. Food banks and resource centers rely on the generosity of businesses, organizations, and individuals to continue providing critical services to the people who need them most.
We are so proud to support amazing organizations like these. Thank you to everyone at the Holyoke Community College Thrive Center and the Western Massachusetts Food Bank for the incredible work you do for our community.
