Keaton Tripp nearly had a max points day at Darlington, putting himself right back in the championship picture. Now only 5 points behind Justin Michael, he will need to hold off Nathan Carroll and Dakota Floyd as well - two drivers who are ready to take advantage of the leaders’ mistakes. Only one more race to get the job done.

Five or six drivers still have a realistic shot at the Season 5 championship, but anything can happen. Do the point leaders extend their gap over everyone else? Or does attrition wreak havoc before the finale next week?

It’s about time we hear from Dakota Floyd again. His exceptional long-run pace proved too much for Justin Michael and Nathan Carroll, who rounded out the podium over 4 seconds behind. The penultimate race of the season will see us at Darlington Raceway tomorrow night.

Matt Rodilosso secured his first C&C Home Designs Truck Series victory last Thursday, becoming the eleventh different winner this season. Only two Chase contenders earned a top-10 finish. As it often does, Talladega shook up the standings and we still don’t have a clear idea who the title favorite is. Three races remain.
