4 SIGNS GOSSIP IS BEING DISGUISED AS DISCERNMENT…

1. There is more conversation about the person than prayer for the person.
2. Private information is being shared with people who have no ability to help resolve the situation.
3. Suspicion is presented as though it were revelation.
“I just sense something…” is not permission to assassinate somebody’s character.
4. The conversation leaves you thinking worse of someone instead of moving toward truth, prayer, or biblical resolution.

Discernment is meant to help you pray wisely and walk wisely. It was never given to make gossip sound spiritual.

Don’t put a prophetic label on a carnal conversation.
