This kid was definitely born country! 🤠 What a joy to hang out with Grant & his folks. Stay tuned for some awesome shots from his session, even more than these from the corn field. 😊

Congratulations to the Everest Middle School Class of 2030 on their promotion to high school!

Please check with your school officials for the link of images you can download. (I know you’ve heard it before, but it’s the real deal: Don’t screenshot! Follow the steps to download your images or the quality will be gross. Ew.)

Have fun in high school! 🄳

Our Christmas Eve photo looks a little different this year, but I wanted to focus on my greatest gifts. ā¤ļø

Thank you for your continued support this year. May you have a joyful Christmas celebrating our Savior’s birth.

Thrilled to be back courtside with the Chargers for a new season! Just a few shots from JV tonight as my schedule didn’t allow for time with Varsity, but I’ll catch them soon! Go Big Blue!

Ten years ago this weekend, I had a full Saturday of Fall Mini Sessions at Weston Bend State Park. My calendar was full of sessions & editing took up most of my time at home. I was very thankful for the opportunity to capture so many folks and their families.

The next day, I found my mom after she fell.

For WischDesigns, I had to make some adjustments to sessions & gallery expectation times. Clients understood & I appreciated that so much. I was able to spend most of my time with her those last few months.

After she passed that next January, I didn’t rush right back into anything. If you’ve ever lost someone important to you, you know that you don’t just get over it. Grieving takes time & it’s different for everyone & every situation.

A lot has happened in the last 10 years. And while WischDesigns has made a few changes, it’s still very much a big part of my life. But I don’t stay up late, into the morning hours editing. I don’t schedule when I know my kids will be all together. And I just don’t have a lot of time to post on social media due to the time it takes to create & prepare the images.

When I put the information out this fall about mini sessions, I was hoping for two, maybe three sessions.

The response I got was overwhelming.

I may not get all the previews posted or the reels flashing in front of you on social media. And while I realize this image is a picture of a gorgeous Cottonwood from my phone….(peep the thumb in the frame, which my mom was famous for so I’m sure she’d appreciate that ā˜ŗļø), I’m still very much still out here capturing all the beautiful moments.

As I wrap up this weekend & send previews out to all the families I saw this weekend, I’m so very thankful for all my past & present clients, this WischDesigns community, & my family.

And I just wanted to say THANK YOU. ā¤ļø
