Getting the 69 Cutlass convertible stripped down and finding ancient repairs

Today's progress was messing with a new door on the old 65 C10.
The factory latches are less than desirable so installed modern style latches.
They come as a bolt on kit which looks like a hokey afterthought so I cut out and welded a plate in flush. A little finish work and it'll look factory correct.

The chopped 1936 Ford 3W is waiting to go to paint.

Quick update on the 36 Ford 2" top chop.
Not done but coming along nicely.

Going back together with the chop on the 36 Ford 3 window. A pillars done.

What do you mean you only wanted an oil change?

36 Ford 3 window update:
Rust repair on the pass side door. Fabricated and welded in new sections using metal brake, shrinker/ stretcher and Miller MIG.
