COR Houston

43 schools in HISD's North Division have 90% or more students who qualify for free or reduced-priced lunch. Our contacts at these schools appreciate the much-needed items we deliver for their students.

Studies show that 1 in 4 girls in the US will miss school due to period poverty. During the 2025-26 school year, COR Houston distributed 60,380 period products for HISD students in need, helping girls attend school and focus on learning.

BakerRipley Head Start Family Development Worker Yared Jasso and her Anderson Elementary associate pick up beds and bedding for families in crisis.

School deliveries for the week!

COR is extremely grateful for the continuing support of H-E-B! H-E-B provides grant funding and did a recent collection of hygiene supplies for COR. Thank you, H-E-B!

A wonderful group of volunteers from the University of Houston Pre-Law Society came to the warehouse last weekend and assembled 144 easy meal and 20 teen food packs. They also made several large feminine hygiene packs for high schools to have on hand for students in need. We are very grateful for their efforts!

Supporters Mary and David Boroughs regularly volunteer for COR, making deliveries to schools and helping at the warehouse. We are grateful for our volunteers!

We are happy to deliver essential items for students at high-need Title I schools in HISD.

Schools love to get deliveries from COR! And we love our schools! With Fondren MS counselor Lisa Elder and associate.
