This week feels like a turning point. ❤️🌱

I’m learning that God isn’t asking me to spend my life trying to control people, circumstances, or outcomes. He’s asking me to let Him build me.

My character.
My discipline.
My discernment.
My patience.
My faith.
My legacy.

And if I want to see different fruit, I have to start planting different seeds.

This week I’m choosing to work behind my faith—not just pray, but prepare. Not just hear the Word, but live it. Not just tell my children what respect looks like, but show them.

I’m learning to be happy with God and with myself, to receive correction without seeing it as condemnation, and to stop allowing anger and hurt to make decisions for me.

The future is still beautiful. And I’m still becoming. ❤️

Isaiah 55:8–10 🌱
“His thoughts are not my thoughts, neither are my ways his ways…”

God, build me into someone my future self, my children, and You can be proud of.

Amen. Ase. 🤍❤️

This week’s Godly Goals are personal. 🤍

I’m not just talking about change anymore—I’m choosing to change for God. To listen when He corrects me, move when He tells me to move, and trust Him enough to surrender what I can’t control.

I’m learning that faith isn’t just what I say I believe. It’s how I live, how I respond, and what I do next.

Surrender. Obedience. Discernment. Discipline. Action.

God, keep transforming me from the inside out. 🕊️

Amen. Ase. 🤍

WE MADE IT. 🥹📖🤍

7 days. 7 Psalms. So many reminders that we don’t have to carry life alone.

🐑 Psalm 23 — Lead me.
👑 Psalm 29 — Speak over my storm.
🌙 Psalm 4:8 — Let me rest.
🛡️ Psalm 91 — Protect me.
🤍 Psalm 31 — I surrender.
⚔️ Psalm 35 — Fight for me.
⚖️ Psalm 7 — You know my heart.

Thank you to EVERYONE who prayed, watched, commented, shared, read along, or simply spent a little more time with God this week.

This series reminded me that Scripture isn’t just something we read.

It’s something we can pray.

And now… where should we go next? 👀📖

Drop the next book of the Bible you want us to dive into together. 🤍

Happy final day of our 7 Days of Psalms, Empire. 🫶🏽

DAY 6 of 7 Days of Psalms 📖⚔️

Some battles aren’t yours to fight.

Psalm 35 reminded me that I can ask God to plead my cause, protect me, defend me, and fight for me—without becoming bitter or seeking revenge.

I don’t have to prove myself.
I don’t have to respond to everything.
I don’t have to fight every battle.

My case is in God’s hands. 🛡️

Today I’m praying:
“God, fight the battles I cannot fight. Protect me, guide me, and keep my heart while You handle what concerns me.”

If you’re giving something to God today, comment:

GOD, FIGHT MY BATTLE. 🤍

📖 DAY 5 — PSALM 31

Happy September Empire 🍁🍂

Day 5 of 7 Days of Psalms — and today we’re sitting with Psalm 31.

This one feels like a prayer for the moments when you don’t have the answers, don’t understand the timing, and don’t know how everything is going to work out… but you’re choosing to trust God anyway.

“My times are in thy hand.” — Psalm 31:15

That’s the reminder for today. 🫶🏽

My plans are in His hands.
My timing is in His hands.
My future is in His hands.
And even the things I can’t see yet… God already sees them.

So today I’m practicing surrender instead of control.

“Into thine hand I commit my spirit.” 🤍

What part of Psalm 31 are you standing on today?

Tell me your verse or what it means to you. 👇🏽

We’re not just reading the Psalms. We’re learning how to pray them. 📖✨

Tomorrow September is hereeeeee! 🍎🎨✨

And we’re making MEMORIES this month! 🥹❤️

The kids have their very own September Bucket List because I want this month to be about more than school, routines, responsibilities, and Mommy being busy trying to get everything together.

I want park days, painting, movie nights, baking, game nights with friends + their babies, library trips, little adventures, belly laughs, pictures, and moments they’ll actually remember. 🥰

I’m getting back into our routine, getting back into my loving mama spirit, and being more present with my babies. ❤️

We may not check every single box—and that’s okay! The goal isn’t perfection.

The goal is childhood. The goal is memories. The goal is FUN. 🎨🍎🎲🍿

So… September, let’s make some memories! ✨

Mommy + Mahagani + Herman = LET’S GOOOOO! 😂❤️

Day 4 of 7 Days of Psalms — and whew… Psalm 91.

This one moved me DIFFERENT.

I’m not even going to lie, this video is longer because there was simply too much in these 16 verses that I needed to sit with. 😭

Psalm 91 speaks about refuge, protection, fear, angels, deliverance, authority, and trusting God when trouble is around you.

And I didn’t want to rush through that.

Sometimes you find a scripture that doesn’t just make you feel encouraged — it makes you feel covered.

So today, I’m breaking down what Psalm 91 means to me, how I use it in prayer, and what I’m personally standing on in this season.

“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” 🤍

What part of Psalm 91 speaks to YOU the most?

“He is my refuge and my fortress.”
“He shall give his angels charge over thee.”
“Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder.”
“I will be with him in trouble.”

Tell me your verse. 👇🏽

We’re not just reading the Psalms.
We’re learning how to pray them. 📖🤍

This week, I’m leaning into my childlike faith. 🪶🤍

In my 7 Days in Psalms, I asked you to pray and ask God to show you a feather as a little game of faith—and now feathers are following me right into this week’s Godly Goals. 😂

I’m taking care of the little girl in me, listening to what she needs, and allowing God to show me where I still have growing to do.

This week is about faith, accountability, healing & becoming. Next week, I’ll take what I’ve learned and work on forgiveness, apologies, and making things right where I can.

God, keep showing me. I’m willing to see it. 🪶I’m also so happy I was able to make it to my church home in Baton Rouge House of God ministries . The sermon was absolutely perfect and moved me to tears a few times . Praise God !

Amen. Ase o. 🤍

🌙 DAY 4 OF 7 DAYS OF PSALMS — PSALM 4:8

“I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety.” — Psalm 4:8 🤍

Tonight’s Psalm hit me differently.

When I said in my video that I didn’t have a bed or a home, I wasn’t saying that I’m without a place to live or that I’m sleeping without somewhere to sleep. 😂🤍

What I meant was I’m in a season of transition.

There are some things about the next chapter of my life that haven’t been figured out yet.

Some things I know.
Some things I’m still discerning.
And some things simply aren’t mine to figure out right now.

And honestly?

That’s okay.

I don’t need every answer tonight.

I don’t need to know exactly what tomorrow looks like.

I don’t need to know how every piece is going to come together.

I can lay it down.

The uncertainty.
The questions.
The decisions.
The things I can’t control.

And trust God with all of it.

Because Psalm 4:8 reminds me that peace isn’t something I have to create for myself. It’s something I can receive from God.

So whatever this next chapter looks like — however God chooses to arrange it — I trust Him to work it out.

Together or apart.
This way or another way.
Now or later.

God knows what He’s doing.

And until I know the answer, I’m going to rest.

Not because everything is figured out…

but because I trust the One who is figuring it out. 🕊️

Tonight’s prayer:

“Lord, I lay it all down.
I release what I cannot control.
I release the need to know every answer.
Give me peace while You work.
Give me wisdom for what comes next.
And let me rest knowing that what is meant for me will not require me to live in fear.
You are my safety.
You are my peace.
I trust You with my next chapter.
Amen.” 🤍

What are you laying down tonight?

Drop it below — or simply say “I trust God.” 🕊️

Day 4/7: Psalm 4:8 — Peace & Safety.

I can rest. I don’t have to have every answer tonight. 🌙📖
