Today is quite the day. My dad's birthday is today. His name was Michael, and who my son is named after. I lost him when I was 30, to cancer. I miss him everday.
This morning is also the morning I didn't come home from my morning ride. The day my daughter and two sons almost lost their dad. I can't imagine leaving them with such a hole in their young lives.
So today will forever be a big day for me. I may post like this every year.
This morning, my Daughter is living her best life in SanMarcos in Texas State University, and my sons snuck into my room (way too early) to scare/wake me up. Thier favorite way to start their day...and mine.
I thank God for this second chance at life every day. As well as all my friends and family whose support two years ago is how today is such a good day for me now.
May you all get out and LIVE today to the fullest, whether on or off a bike. Tomorrow is not promised.

Dropping 3/4 lbs off this rig before Gravel Worlds. New Berd Sparrow 50 wheels are nice! These 50c tires now measure 52.5mm.
