Our Driscoll house clients are on their upstairs terrace for morning coffee and unwinding in the evening, and in the screened porch below for most of their mid day meals. The walls of glass around the courtyard keep them connected wherever they are in their home.

Easy to build and repair, built to last forever. Simple requirements for an outdoor elementary school classroom! The Learning Pavilion is designed and built with common materials - lumber from a home improvement store and standard pregalvanized steel shapes. Simple details, repeated and replaceable parts! Photos of the finished - and award winning - project on our website.

Important moments, like standing at the kitchen sink, were re-organized around the original features, like bay windows, of this historic bungalow. This reconnected our clients' living spaces to their neighborhood and gave the house "good bones". Small things like painting the window sashes deep neutral green connect your eye and experience to the treescape outside.
