Sorian
Sooner is now called Sorian. We bring answers. Sooner is the leading oil country tubular goods (OCTG) distributor in North America. Trust your business to Sooner.
The team that united Sooner Pipe, CTAP, and TerraTech still delivers unmatched strategic guidance and solutions our partners rely on. We've been in business for more than 75 years - perfecting our process, cementing relationships, and building a reputation for absolute fairness and reliability. Today, we are the number one OCTG distributor in the industry, and our customers know they can count on Sooner to be there on time, every time. As part of the Marubeni-Itochu group, Sooner has the resources, capital, and global reach of a major multinational organization. Worldwide, Marubeni-Itochu has approximately $1 billion of inventory on the ground. Together, we are able to make considered, strategic investments in distribution infrastructure and inventory that make it possible for us to respond rapidly to customer demands across North America and around the world. We provide the experience, service, flexibility, competitive environment, and distribution infrastructure that no steel mill can directly offer to the end user. Sooner delivers more casing and tubing to more well sites across North America than any other supplier. We offer our customers more transparency into the purchasing process, more visibility over the progress of their shipment, and more certainty that their order will arrive complete, accurate, and on schedule. With the high cost of drilling operations, you can't afford to trust an inexperienced partner. Trust your business to the company that delivers.

Lunch, collaboration, and meaningful conversations in Lafayette, CO. During our town hall, we discussed our rebrand and how we're coming together as one company with a renewed focus on serving our customers.
"We want to be advisors for our customers," said Zac, VP of Sales. "We're helping point the way forward with solutions, services, and answers that go beyond what customers have traditionally known us for."
Moments like these remind us that our greatest strength is our people.

We will never forget. Twenty-five years later, we remember the lives lost on September 11th, the heroes who ran toward danger, and the unity that carried us through the darkest of days. Their memory lives on.

The Midland team came together for a celebratory lunch to recognize two incredible safety milestones! Our Midland Yard reached 365 days accident-free, marking a full year of working safely, while our Thread Shop surpassed an outstanding 1,000 days accident-free.
These milestones represent more than just numbers; they reflect the commitment our employees make every day to look out for one another, follow safe work practices, and make sure everyone goes home safely.
We were proud to take some time today to recognize the hard work and dedication that made these accomplishments possible. Congratulations to both teams on these well-earned milestones!

Building Something Bigger Together.
The leadership team recently stopped in Fort Morgan, Colorado, continuing conversations with our service center team about our rebrand, our future, and the impact we can make as one company.
A recurring theme throughout the town hall was simple: bringing our teams together creates more opportunities for our customers and strengthens our ability to provide solutions.
As Duke Altshuler, senior executive advisor, opened the discussion with:
"Keep working, keep asking questions, keep pushing."
That spirit of continuous improvement is helping shape a company that does more than provide products. It's helping us become a trusted partner that understands challenges and delivers answers.
Our VP of Sales, Zac Cross, shared the vision behind the rebrand:
"We want to be advisors for our customers. We want to understand what's not working for them and help solve it."
For years, our businesses built strong local reputations. Now, we're combining that expertise into one powerful brand while maintaining the service and relationships our customers have always counted on.
As Joe Ottaviani, president of operations, noted:
"This change has more significance and meaning than any I've seen before, and our service will stay the same or become even better."
The conversations in Fort Morgan reflected the excitement, pride, and momentum building across our company. Together, we're creating a stronger organization, expanding our capabilities, and helping customers succeed in new ways.
