🌿🖤 HOODOO HERITAGE MONTH — DAY 3 🖤🌿

GRANDMA DID HOODOO… SHE JUST DIDN’T CALL IT THAT.

Some of us grew up around Hoodoo and didn’t even know it.

Grandma wasn’t talking about “manifestation techniques.” 😂 She was praying.

She wasn’t explaining spiritual cleansing. She just told you to get in that tub and use what she gave you.

She knew certain Psalms by heart.
She paid attention to dreams.
She had rules about sweeping and what you did after dark.
She knew when somebody’s energy wasn’t right.
She kept certain things around the house for protection.
She had remedies for EVERYTHING.
And there were some things she did that you knew better than to touch or ask too many questions about. 😂

Now, that doesn’t mean every old Southern saying or Black family tradition is automatically Hoodoo.

But Hoodoo survived largely because knowledge was lived, practiced, adapted and passed from one generation to another.

Sometimes there wasn’t a formal lesson.

You learned by watching.

You learned because Big Mama said,
“Baby, this is what we do.”

And years later, you realize somebody was teaching you the whole damn time. 🌿

💬 HERITAGE QUESTION OF THE DAY:

What’s something your mama, grandma, auntie, granddaddy or another elder used to do that you didn’t understand until you got older?

DROP IT IN THE COMMENTS. 👇🏾

Let’s see how many of us grew up with the SAME traditions in completely different households. 👀😂

🌿🖤 HOODOO HERITAGE MONTH: LET’S START AT THE ROOT. 🖤🌿

Before there were aesthetic altar pictures, fancy spiritual shops and social media tutorials, there were people making a way with what they had.

Hoodoo grew within the Black American experience—through survival, resistance, healing, protection, prayer, ancestral memory and the spiritual technologies our people carried, preserved and adapted.

And sometimes what survived didn’t even have a name in our homes.

Grandma just knew what to do.

She knew which Psalm to pray.

She knew what that dream meant.

She knew when something in the house didn’t feel right.

She knew how to wash, pray, cleanse, protect and make a way.

And if you asked too many questions, you probably got:

“Baby, just do what I told you.” 😂

THAT is what we’re exploring during Hoodoo Heritage Month.

Not just spellwork.

History. Lineage. Survival. Tradition. Practice.

And we’re putting that knowledge into practice with our first collective working.

🌾 THE HARVEST: CLEAR THE ROAD & CALL IT HOME 🌾
Sunday, October 11, 2026
Energy Exchange: $44.44

This will be a three-part collective working:

💥 BLOCKBUSTER — breaking through stubborn obstacles and stagnant conditions.

🛡️ PROTECTION — spiritually covering the road and what we’re preparing to receive.

🌾 THE HARVEST — calling forward the favorable conditions we’re ready to receive: money, employment, business opportunities, resources, clients, healthy relationships, housing opportunities and OPEN DOORS.

Because sometimes it isn’t enough to plant.

Sometimes you’ve got to clear the field, protect what you’ve planted, and then go get your harvest.

Participants will receive instructions for submitting their petition before the working.

📩 Message “HARVEST” to reserve your place.

Throughout the days leading to October 11, I’m going to teach you WHY each part of this work matters.

Welcome to Hoodoo Heritage Month.

A new week is a reminder that every day is another opportunity to choose growth, clarity, and intention.

If you’ve been feeling like you’re in the middle of a transition, wondering why certain things happened or where your path is leading next, my Past • Present • Future Reading was created for moments just like this.

This isn’t your typical tarot reading.

🕯️ We’ll explore the energy you’ve walked away from and the lessons it left behind.

🌿 We’ll uncover the energy you’re standing in today and what Spirit wants you to recognize in this season.

✨ Then we’ll look at the path you’re creating through your current choices and the opportunities unfolding ahead.

Your past isn’t there to keep you stuck.

It’s there to remind you how far you’ve come.

🔮✨ TODAY’S SPECIAL: PAST • PRESENT • FUTURE READING ✨🔮

Only $33.33 Today!

Not every reading is about predicting what’s coming next.

Sometimes the greatest clarity comes from understanding where you’ve been, where you are, and how those experiences are shaping your path forward.

My Past • Present • Future Reading is designed to do exactly that.

🕯️ The Past
We’ll explore the energy you’ve been walking away from, the lessons you’ve learned, and what may still be influencing your life today.

🌿 The Present
We’ll look at the energy you’re standing in right now. What is Spirit asking you to see? What opportunities, challenges, or confirmations are showing up in this season?

✨ The Future
Rather than declaring a fixed outcome, we’ll explore the direction your current energy is leading and what you can nurture, change, or prepare for moving forward.

This is what makes this reading different.

It’s not about telling you that your future is set in stone.

It’s about helping you understand how your past has shaped your present—and how the choices you make today can influence tomorrow.

If you’ve been feeling like you’re in the middle of a transition, this is a beautiful reading to gain perspective and move forward with intention.

🌕🦌 THE BUCK MOON IS HERE. 🦌🌕

Tonight’s Full Buck Moon reminds us of one of nature’s greatest lessons.

Did you know the Buck Moon gets its name from the time of year when male deer begin growing new antlers?

Every year, they shed what no longer serves them…
Only to grow something stronger.

Nature doesn’t resist change.
It embraces it.

Maybe that’s your lesson tonight.

🌕 What are you still carrying that you’ve already outgrown?

🌕 What version of yourself is ready to be released?

🌕 What strength has been quietly growing beneath the surface while you were questioning yourself?

Growth isn’t always obvious.

Sometimes it’s happening in the dark.
Sometimes it’s uncomfortable.
Sometimes you don’t realize how much you’ve changed until you look back.

Tonight’s Full Moon is a beautiful opportunity to pause, reflect, express gratitude, and set intentions for what you want to continue building. Many people also use the light of the full moon as a reminder to celebrate progress and release what no longer aligns with them.

🌿 Tonight’s Reflection

🪐 Saturn Retrograde Isn’t Here to Punish You… It’s Here to Prepare You.

When people hear “retrograde,” they often assume something bad is about to happen. But Saturn doesn’t work that way.

Saturn is often associated with discipline, responsibility, boundaries, long-term goals, and the foundations we build our lives on.

A Saturn retrograde is a season that encourages us to slow down and ask ourselves some honest questions:

✨ Where have I been avoiding responsibility?
✨ What habits are holding me back?
✨ What foundation am I trying to build?
✨ Am I living according to my values or just surviving?
✨ What needs more consistency instead of more motivation?

This isn’t necessarily about starting over.

It’s about building something strong enough to last.

Sometimes Spirit doesn’t remove the obstacle…
Sometimes Spirit asks us to become the person who can overcome it.

Reflection Question:

💬 What is one area of your life where you know it’s time to become more disciplined?
