One thing building a business has taught me:

Busy and growing are not always the same thing.

A full calendar can feel exciting.
More orders can look like progress.
More work can make you feel like the business is moving.

But eventually, you have to look deeper.

Is the revenue growing?
Are the margins healthy?
Is the cash flow improving?
Are the right customers coming back?

Because activity can make a business look busy.

The numbers tell you whether it’s actually becoming stronger. 🤍

What number has taught you the most about your business?

Someone else’s success doesn’t take anything away from yours.

One thing business has taught me is that comparison can quietly become a distraction.

Pay attention to the market.
Learn from people doing well.
Celebrate good work.

Then get back to your own lane.

There’s room for more than one person to win, and growth gets a lot easier when you stop measuring your journey against someone else’s.

Your real competition is who you were yesterday. 🤍

What changed when you stopped comparing and started focusing on your own growth?
