5,895 meters. One summit. One purpose much bigger than the climb.

Our founder, Daniella Lopes, reached the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro carrying the DIFF EDUCATION flag — and with it, the support of every person who believed in this mission.

This challenge started with one goal: to raise the funds needed to build two new water wells and bring safe water to hundreds of children and families.

After four intense days on the mountain, our flag made it to the Roof of Africa. Behind that moment were every donation, every message, every share, and every person who helped us get there.

To everyone who donated and supported this campaign: thank you. None of this would have been possible without you.

And a very special thank you to our official donors — OTT, Re:wild and CASA DiFF — for believing CASA DiFFrk and standing behind this mission.

We reached the summit. We reached our fundraising goal. And now, the reason behind all of this becomes a reality: the first water well starts next week.

Através da nossa formação em pastelaria e empreendedorismo, 25 mulheres da comunidade estão a adquirir ferramentas que lhes permitem gerar o seu próprio rendimento — para algumas, pela primeira vez através do seu próprio trabalho.

For the third year in a row, more than 300 children in Mecúfi celebrated their birthdays together on our founder Daniella’s birthday. 💙

In the communities where we work, birthdays usually pass like any other day. No cake. No candles. No celebration.

Three years ago, Daniella decided to change that.

What started as a simple birthday wish has become a beautiful tradition. Every year, hundreds of children laugh, play, dance, and experience something many of them never had before: the joy of celebrating their birthday.

Because every child deserves to feel seen, valued, and celebrated.

Hoje, a DIFF EDUCATION marcou presença no lançamento do projeto “Horizontes da Educação 2050”, uma iniciativa da em parceria com The Long Game, que convida a repensar o futuro da educação em Portugal até 2050.

Foi inspirador fazer parte desta reflexão coletiva sobre educação, inovação, inclusão e impacto social, porque construir o futuro começa nas decisões que tomamos hoje. 🌍📚✨

🌍 Dia Mundial da Língua Portuguesa

Preserving a language is preserving identity, but it’s also about creating access. In Mecúfi, many women never had the chance to learn Portuguese. Through and Santa Clara University, we developed an app designed for those who have never had contact with reading or writing, adapted to the local context and accessible offline. More than teaching a language, this is about opening doors to information, work, and autonomy, because preserving also means including.
