Over the last two years, I’ve spent a lot of time looking into the life and career of Paul McCartney.

Having loved his songwriting for as long as I can remember, I found myself watching a lot of interviews. His perspective on songwriting, as well as his thoughts on leaving The Beatles behind, has really imprinted itself on my brain.

At the top of the year, as a gift to myself, I purchased his book, The Lyrics.

There may or may not be a tear-stained page or two.

I guess now is as good a time as any to let you all know: Pluto is returning to to launch our 6th season, “Out of the Shadows.”

As an overthinker, it can be easy to retreat into hiding when you feel the need to disappear for a while. Imposter syndrome can get loud. Fear can get loud. Doubt can get loud.

But at some point, you have to step back into the light and share what your spirit has to offer.

For this performance, I want to challenge our audience to get creative alongside us. Bring a sketchbook and your curious mind.

More to come. 🌱

Hi 👋

Long time, no see. Yes, I am still here.

I’ve been asked a bunch of times what Pluto is doing next, whether I’m writing new music, and things of that nature. I love that you want to know how things are in my orbit. ✨

Over the last several months, I took time to travel, read, tend to my growing plant collection, and get back in touch with my creative side.

Since becoming a songwriter, I’ve realized more than ever how important it is to seek out what brings you joy and to embrace the experiences that may just inspire new music.

I’m all rested up and ready to share with you what I’ve been up to. 🐞

…and perhaps tell you when to expect our next show. 👀

A clip of our performance of ‘Black Castle’ with Wild She Dances at The Silos at Sawyer Yards

This song is about enduring the weight of mental illness and continuing to move forward anyway. The difficult days are not failures; every time you choose to keep going, you’ve already won. ❤️

They say it takes a village — but they don’t tell you that village is built by incredible artists who’ve dedicated their lives to their craft.

Every musician, writer, dancer, choreographer, and videographer on this project has poured in years of work long before their careers even began. And when they come together? Magic happens.

Join us for this one-of-a-kind FREE performance tomorrow at 7:00pm at the Silos.

We’re excited to introduce the powerhouse duo behind this Friday’s event: Bonnie Diggs and Bethany Logan.
Bonnie Diggs is a Houston-based violinist with over a decade of experience. A New Orleans native, she earned her violin performance degree from Loyola University, where recording projects sparked her love for exploring new genres. Classically trained yet creatively fearless, she’s collaborated with rock cover bands, Two Star Symphony, and other eclectic artists. Bonnie is also the founder and artistic director of Pluto Soundz, a non-traditional string quartet that blends original compositions, percussive techniques, and contemporary storytelling.
Bethany Logan is a dancer, choreographer, teaching artist, and certified fitness/yoga professional. She holds a BFA in Dance & Choreography from Ohio University and has trained internationally, including studying Gaga in Italy and working with Navdhara India Dance Theatre in Mumbai. After performing extensively in New York, she founded Wild She Dances in 2019. Now based in Houston, she serves in artistic and administrative roles with Vitacca, teaches through Hope Stone Inc., and performs with several local companies.
