National Safety Month: When Failure Is Not An Option

At Skyler, safety is more than a checklist, it's a commitment we make every day to our employees, trade partners, clients, and communities.

As we recognize National Safety Month, we're reminded that every successful project begins and ends with a strong safety culture. From pre-construction planning and daily job site meetings to proper training, PPE’s and hazard awareness, safety is embedded in every phase of our work.

This month, and every month, we celebrate the teams who make safety a shared responsibility and a core value.

This event brings together owners, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and industry professionals to connect, collaborate, and learn about upcoming opportunities across Southern Colorado's construction market.

Raksha Yadav - Field Engineer

As a former Skyler intern, Raksha brings valuable experience in pre-construction and project operations, with a strong background in project coordination, scheduling, quality control, and field operations. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from RGPV, India, and a Master of Science in Construction Management from Texas A&M University.

We’re excited to have Raksha on the team and look forward to her contributions as she continues her journey with Skyler.

Currently working across healthcare construction, project management, and operations, they are gaining hands-on experience, collaborating with our teams, and contributing to meaningful projects that support our clients and communities.

At Skyler, we believe in creating opportunities for future industry leaders to learn, grow, and develop through real-world experience. Our interns have already brought enthusiasm, fresh perspectives, and a strong willingness to learn, and weʼre proud to be part of their professional journey.
