That's the shaker table test we put our 24VDC Electric Rotary Actuator through before it ever reaches a frac site.
Vibration is one of the biggest reasons equipment fails in the red zone. No standard test matched what we see in the field, so we built our own. Random vibration hits every frequency at once, just like the real thing.
The verdict? "From a vibration standpoint, this is a tank."
"Can you make it do this instead?"
Yes. That question has been answered at AMOT since 1948, and a good number of the products in our catalog today exist because somebody asked it.
Any AMOT product can be modified to fit your application. Custom ball profiles, custom end connections, different temperature ranges, different port sizes, different controls. And when a modification won't do it, our engineers design from a blank sheet.

What does "rugged electric" actually look like?
A few years back we went looking for an actuator that would hold up in deep cold, mount directly on-engine, and survive continuous vibration. Nothing measured up.
So we built our own, from the ground up.
The AMOT EH Series electric rotary actuator: −40°C to +125°C, 14.1 GRMS vibration, 1,000,000+ cycles at rated load.

Meet Riley Kostiuk, Senior Design Engineer at AMOT Controls.
Riley's been on our actuator team for three and a half years, working on everything from early design and testing on the EH Series to building out the systems that keep quality consistent as production has scaled. But ask Riley what makes the work possible, and the answer isn't any one person; it's the team behind it.
"Between the team, we've got a really wide range of knowledge and design philosophies, and that's what lets us build something as complex as our actuator. If I've got a question, I can lean on Guy or Jesse, and it goes the other way too. Nobody's ever stuck waiting on one person. If I'm busy, whoever's covering for me can pick up right where I left off and keep things moving. That's what lets us develop good products quickly, without cutting corners."
