Our volunteers are a part of that family, showing up to encourage and support clients along the way. Thank you, Matt Wells, for serving our clients through mock interviews and being part of the WorkFaith family!
Just one week ago, this room was filled with people who believe in what’s possible when faith, purpose, and community come together.
From an empty room to a room full of people, stories, and shared vision, the 2026 By Faith Breakfast was a powerful reminder that impact starts with people willing to believe in something bigger than themselves.

Today, WorkFaith joins our nation in remembering September 11, 2001.
We remember the lives lost, the families impacted, and the first responders and heroes who showed extraordinary courage that day.
May we continue to honor their memory by standing together in faith, hope, and service to our communities.
We will never forget. 🇺🇸

Today is officially WorkFaith Day in the City of Houston.
We are deeply honored to share that the Mayor of Houston has proclaimed September 10, 2026, as WorkFaith Day in recognition of 20 years of serving our city through WORK and FAITH.
There could not be a more meaningful day for this recognition. This morning, we gathered to celebrate 20 years of impact at our By Faith Breakfast. Now, we get to celebrate something we could never have accomplished alone: 20 years of a community believing that work can change a life, faith can transform a future, and together, we can build something that lasts.
Houston, thank you for 20 years.
Today we celebrate Then. We honor Now. And together, we build the Next 20. Thank you to Mayor Whitmire and the City of Houston for this meaningful recognition and for celebrating 20 years of WorkFaith with us.

What an incredible morning at our By Faith Breakfast, celebrating 20 years of WorkFaith and all that the Lord has done! 💙
For 20 years, God has faithfully used WorkFaith to transform lives through meaningful employment. We’re grateful for every client, partner, donor, volunteer, and supporter who has been part of this journey.

Feeling weary? Don’t give up!
There are seasons when we may not see the results of our efforts, but God sees every step, every prayer, and every act of faithfulness. Keep trusting Him, even when the outcome isn’t clear.
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9
Join us for Bible Study Tuesday as we continue to grow in faith and encourage one another in God’s Word.
This week’s JSA class was a reminder that even in seasons of uncertainty, there is always room for hope.
Our clients are learning, growing, and taking steps toward what’s next, surrounded by a community that believes in them. We’re grateful to be a light along the way and walk alongside each person as they pursue new opportunities.
